I most feel the pain of not having any extended family here on specail occasions. There would be grandparents day at the day care and we wouldn’t have anyone to attend. The presents our kids receive on their birthdays are limited. My mum and brother send us little packages every now on then but I insist they don’t as the fee is more than the cost of the content. But for a change we’ve got my mother in law here and she arrived with lots of beautiful presents and every time she goes out she comes back with something for one of us mainly for Ada. This is Ada showing off her dresses tonight. I’m truly grateful that we’ve got a visitor at home. Watching Ada dance around the room made me teary tonight.
