This project has always been very close to my heart. I felt the connection with my participants deep in my soul.
There was a genuine admiration in my part, to their strengths, experiences and hospitality. They offered me tea, coffee. They offered me lunch.
They baked cakes for me. This project is truly able to become a book. I doubt, my writing abilities will live up to the task but it does have a big potential.

I’m speechless about the appreciation from both public and organisations. I’ve learnt about Sheilas through a friend. It’s a national, monthly e-publication brought to life by the Victorian Women’s Trust . When I submitted my work, they couldn’t praise it enough. The Migrant Mothers of Australia will be featured in Sheilas for the next three months,as an ongoing feature story.
