The process of getting prepared for an exhibition is very exciting and mine is on the way.

I’ll have two body of work will be at display as the highlight of the day, on the 14th of August at Grand Start Receptions. The one day Volunteer Conference with AMCS has given me the opportunity to show case some of my work.

The media release averted on SBS radio as follows and it has been translated to seven different languages.

“Australian Multicultural Community Services invites you to the “Volunteering within Ethnic Communities” on Thursday 14 August, 2014 at Grandstar Receptions in Altona North. This is a FREE event for all volunteers and people considering volunteer work and only a small cost for organisations.

The conference is an opportunity for volunteers to network and share experiences and for organisations to improve their strategies around multicultural volunteer management.Inspirational speakers from the Liberal and Labour Parties, as well as leaders of organisations such as Good Company, Volunteering Victoria, Fronditha Care and the Australian Multicultural Foundation, will share their strategies and outlooks.

One of the highlights of the conference will be the photographic exhibition “Connecting Lives – Building Friendships” by Turkish photographer Sevim Dogan, displaying images and the stories of multicultural volunteers.
